Dear friends,

As most of you must be already aware, the results of the primary election were certified  on July 11 by the Secretary of the State of California.  I finished second with 28, 242 votes, my Democrat opponent got over 59,000 votes.  The remainder 4 candidates in the field received a total of over 13,700 votes.

I am now moving to the second phase heading toward the general election.  More than anybody, I know that I have an uphill battle in the days ahead.  I am more determined than ever to move forward, and in full steam.

Our campaign organization structure is going thru some adjustments to get ready for the general election.  Among the project is the revamping of the campaign website.

The new website will go live next week.  Attached are drafts of my positions on several issues.  They are only drafts, so please refrain from disseminating them.  Once finalized, they will go public.  I am sending them to you as my supporters and friends and would welcome your comments, if any.  Of course, I welcome your financial support too!
